Our care partners and wellness teams help residents discover (and celebrate) independence that may have been waning at home. The support and assistance offered is available 24/7. It comes with an engaging, maintenance-free lifestyle — we take care of the cooking, housekeeping and maintenance, allowing you more time to form new friendships, stay fit and try new things. There’s more time to enjoy community entertainment and fun group outings to the Indian Head Casino, a local brewery or the nearby alpaca farm. Memory Care
Cascades of Bend is not a typical memory care community. Several years of best-practice research and consultations with families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s and dementia went into our community and our exclusive Mosaic Memory Care Program.
While it is architecturally and operationally innovative, Cascades of Bend is intimate and welcoming. The community features ample living space, an open kitchen and comfortable dining areas. The homelike design encourages resident interaction in a safe community setting where our caring associates are always nearby. Apartments are spacious and can be private or shared.
Our wellness and life-enrichment teams work together to ensure residents stay connected and engaged while enjoying a variety of programs specially designed to enhance their lives.
What truly sets memory care at Cascades of Bend apart is that it’s a community where residents, family and care partners feel valued, purposeful and loved. Residents and their families are part of our family. They are embraced and involved in all decisions and in all aspects of care. We take the time to get to know residents personally — their routines, interests, preferences, passions and joys.
Respite Care
Respite care, also known as a temporary stay, is a great solution for those caring for aging loved ones who may be going on vacation or who may simply need a temporary break from caregiving.
The benefits of respite stays are many. For caregivers, respite care can prevent exhaustion and caregiver burnout. It benefits loved ones by providing variety, stimulation, and a welcome change of routine. Respite stays are also an option for anyone who could benefit from more recovery time or rehabilitation services provided by our rehab partner, Ageility, after surgery or other medical procedures.
